Venue Hire with External Catering

No. 1 Events may consider hiring the venue to clients that wish to bring in their own catering subject to some conditions.

Venue Hire Fees:

A venue hire fee of between $1500.00 and $5500.00 plus GST is payable for events where you wish to bring in your own catering. As our venue is often used for daytime lunch events and a separate evening event bookings that cross over a daytime lunch and evening period will incur a higher venue hire fee.


The final cost is dependent on your exact venue hire duration, the number of pre-event meetings and inspections required, the required venue/ catering equipment, if the kitchen is required and overall set up/ pack down requirements

Our venue hire fee covers the following great inclusions:

  • Exclusive use of the allocated event space

  • Use of the in-house sound system

  • Use of the data projector and screens (Ledbury Room only- audio visual technician/ assitance at additional cost)

  • Use of available venue furniture (including outdoor settings weather permitting)

  • Set up and pack down of the available furniture (does NOT include setting of the tables or decorations)

  • Free on site parking (shared with the golf course)

  • Standard cleaning

  • Our expert event design and coordination assistance

Please note that our venue hire fee does NOT include the following:

  • Linen table cloths (these can be hired for $20.00 per cloth)

  • Crockery, cutlery, platters or other catering equipment (this can be hired for $1.00 per item and a preparation and cleaning fee of approximately $220.00)


Please note that a bond of $500-$1000 is payable for all venue bookings subject to management discretion. The bond is fully refundable so long as no additional cleaning is required, there is any damage or additional venue hire or administration hours required for your event.

External Catering Requirements:

As No. 1 Events have a great reputation for quality food and service from our own in-house catering partner  we will need to ensure your chosen caterer can provide a professional and quality experience. 

Note that no food from home or prepared in a domestic kitchen is permitted at No 1 Events and BYO alcohol is not permitted as our venue is fully licenced. 

Prior to allowing any external catering at No 1 Events the following conditions apply:

  • No. 1 Events management must approve the catering company

  • We must be sent the caterers current public liability insurance certificate for no less than $10 million

  • We must be sent the caterers food health registration permit (for their commercial kitchen premises)

  • The caterer must provide the necessary personnel to prepare the food, serve and clean up

  • The caterer must co-sign a venue hire agreement with the actual venue hirer
